Libraria is the Repository of Digital Information on the History of Health Sciences in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Our purpose is to facilitate access to full-text information to publications with historical value that are part of the Special Collections in the Conrado F. Asenjo Library in order to support the health history education and research in the six schools of the Medical Sciences Campus and beyond. All information in Libraria is organized by keywords (English and Spanish). Furthermore, the Descriptors in English used are based on National Library of Medicine's Medical Subject Headings (MeSH). All content that is classified in Spanish is according to the Descriptores de las Ciencias de la Salud (DeCS) developed by BIREME-PAHO-WHO. Authority control is based on the policy developed by the Colección Puertorriqueña, University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, Campus, as well as on rules developed by the Special Collections Division of the Conrado F. Asenjo Library, Medical Sciences Campus, University of Puerto Rico.
